The Music Run is Singapore’s premier 5km fun run with speakers lining the entire ‘Sound Track’ run course, culminating in the world’s best finish line festival.
It’s an energising and fun event that brings young people together, irrespective of gender and race, for a one-of-a-kind safe, clean, alcohol-free and healthy experience.
Launched in 2014 by Fresh Events Asia, The Music Run’s mission is to inspire people to live the beat and lead more active lifestyles. To date, it has been experienced by over 300,000 runners across 42 events in 13 countries.

The fifth edition of The Music Run Singapore will take place on Saturday 19 August, 2023.
The event will be held at the iconic Bayfront Event Space, Marina Bay.
The Music Run is a commercial and for-profit enterprise.
The Music Run is a 5km fun run and is for people not wanting an official time and prefer to walk, dance or jog the course.
Further details of all activities will be shared closer to the event, however, key times are as follows:
17:30: Gates Open
19:05: 5k Fun Run Starts
20:30: Finish Line Party
22:30: Event Ends
Tickets can be purchased via this website from 12pm noon on Thursday 1st June.
GST (8%) is included in your ticket price. A ticket processing fee will be added to the listed price at checkout.

Yes, children are very welcome, however the event is a evening / night time event with loud music and may not be appropriate for smaller children or babies.
Please note the following:
- Event tickets for Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event are FREE.
- Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event will be provided with a bib for identification at Run Pack Collection (RPC). Please bring your child with you to RPC for age verification purposes. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of age.
- Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event do not receive a Run Pack.
- All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the Event. Accompanying parents or guardians must have purchased an Event Ticket for themselves.
- Children aged 5 (five) years and over on the day of the event are required to purchase an Event Ticket and will receive a Run Pack.
Sorry, only individual registrations are accepted. Please contact the organiser if you wish to purchase a bulk amount of tickets.
There are a number of possible reasons this may have occurred:
- Your registration wasn’t successful, please try again.
- There was a typo in your email address during registration so the confirmation email wasn’t sent to the correct email address.
- The email was blocked by your email server or has been treated as spam or junk mail, please adjust your settings.

Participants can login to their account and make changes until the deadline.
Yes, until midnight on Monday 7th August.
Yes, you can change the name on your bib before midnight on Monday 24th July.
Unfortunately, tickets are not transferable.
No, to maintain registration integrity, these fields cannot be modified.
Participants can edit various details until midnight on Monday 7th August, such as their address and phone number.
The deadline ensures accurate processing and event arrangements.
Unfortunately, changes cannot be made after the deadline.
Each participant will receive (at the Run Pack Collection):
- Unisex T-shirt
- Drawstring bag
- Temporary tattoo pack
At the finish line, each participant will receive:
- Finisher medal
- Finisher drink
- Finisher snack
A friend or family member is able to collect your Run Pack on your behalf by presenting a copy of your Registration Confirmation and ID details.
International visitors will be able to collect their Run Packs from Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018970 on Friday 18th August from 4PM to 8PM and Saturday 19th August from 10AM to 5PM.

The Music Run is a rain or shine event but if extreme weather does occur, the event will be postponed until it is safe to continue. Please follow instructions provided by the Race Officials.

Yes! All finishers will receive a Finisher’s Medal upon crossing the finish line.
A water station will be available on the Run course, and a finisher snack and water will be provided at the finish line.
The entire ‘Sound Track’ run course is lined with speakers so you can run to the rhythm of the beat from start to finish. It’s an immersive running experience like no other! The Official Race Day Playlist on Spotify will be shared after the event so you can re-live the beat.
It wouldn’t be a Music Run without a big focus on music! An important part of The Music Run is the Finish Line Festival, featuring awesome beats and plenty of music inspired entertainment. Please refer to our website for details of the talent performing on the Main Stage. One thing’s for sure, there will be plenty of entertainment before, during and after the run and you’ll have an awesome time living the beat!
The Information Counter is located in theMusic Village. The Music Run Crew will be happy to assist with any questions you have. If you lose or find any items on Race Day, please proceed to the Information Counter for assistance.
Multiple food and beverage options are available for purchase within the Music Village.
Please note that The Music Run operates a strict no alcohol policy. Any persons found with alcohol will be removed from the venue by security staff.
There are First Aid stations located along the Run Course and in the Music Village so any injuries will be attended to by the appropriate medical staff. We do not give refunds for non-completion of the run.
Absolutely! We totally encourage people to dress up and get into the spirit of The Music Run.
Your family and friends are very welcome to cheer you on while you are running on the course but access to the Music Village and Finish Line Festival is reserved for registered participants.
No. Only runners, walkers, wheelchairs and parents with strollers are permitted on the run course. If you are not running, we ask you to stick to the left side to allow those faster than you to pass on the right.
Sorry, no dogs or other pets are allowed in the Event.
